Mom’s have unique challenges that need to be addressed outside of the typical fitness class. The good news is, there are solutions! In as little as 12 weeks, you can see MAJOR results in both appearance and function.


WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE?

Diastasis Recti (DR) is a separation of the abdominal muscles. Pregnancy is the leading cause of DR, but anyone can get it from improper exercise.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE DIASTASIS RECTI (DR)?

This program is designed to benefit all moms and strengthen your core even if you do not have DR! Learning how to reduce intra-abdominal pressure, breathe properly, and build strength is imperative for all moms, not just those with DR. The difference is that this is safe and effective for moms that knowingly have DR.


WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT?

All of the workouts are safe and effective for moms to be as well! Building a foundation during pregnancy will accelerate your healing postpartum!


WHAT TO EXPECT?

Each class is 45 minutes

The first 10 minutes of every class will center on proper breathing techniques. We will work through contraction breathing in multiple positions to build endurance that will translate back to all areas of fitness.

We will move into 15 -30 minutes of workout or strength. These workouts are designed to feel slower than your typical WOD and are designed to make you focus on your breathing and implement it into normal fitness movements. These workouts will tax your core and develop muscular endurance in the deepest muscles of your abdomen. Building strength in these muscles acts as a natural corset, pulling your abdominal muscles together, supporting your lower back and spine, creating a natural “weight belt”!


NOT A MOM BUT WANT TO TRY? Of course!! Just know that the majority of the focus is on pelvic floor and core strengthening geared towards mothers. That doesn’t mean you won’t benefit from the exercises! You absolutely will. In fact, if you are ever thinking about becoming a mom, there’s no better place to start than here!


WHAT IF I AM NOT CURRENTLY IN A FITNESS PROGRAM?

No problem! All workouts are designed to go at your own intensity and are for every level of athlete as well as newly postpartum moms. This is for ALL momma’s whether you are super fit, haven’t worked out a day in your life, or sleep deprived with your new bundle of joy!
